Pontiac Dealer Cocktail Glasses

Thought I'd share a picture of these glasses I have. Not sure of the years they were produced but can't be later that '64 being GTO is included. They were given to me by my Grandfather that owned a dealership from '54 - '74.

What was the dealership name / city?

Maybe all from the same year, 1967?

Those are cool. But I would also say at least '67, looks like I spied a firebird logo. Date doesnt really matter though, in general a great set of hiball glasses.

Very cool set.
I can't tell what some have on them.
A napkin inside the fainter ones would improve visibility.

Don't think I saw Bonneville or Catalina or 2+2 or Tempest
67-69 is my guess too.

The Dealership was called Brown County Motors. There are GTO, Lemans, GP, Firebird, Catalina and Bonneville represented. Probably not a complete list of what were made but they are all I have. I have a 2+2 tie pin so I know they promoted that model separately.

Cool!

:)

You wouldn't know the dealer number?
( I don't have that, but do for the Mackens dealer)

:)

I don't have it either.
I list (2) 'Brown County Motors' ~ 1 in Green Bay & 1 in Vernon, both in business in '55. Don't know the backstory / any relation there.

Here's a pic of Green Bay location with Pontiac ~

A friend of mine worked as a mechanic at a Charlotte NC Pontiac dealership from about 1965 to 1974. I met him in the early 1980s at a swap meet, and he helped me work on some of my cars. He had a number of Pontiac themed items, including some glassware that I think was similar to yours. I only saw them a couple of times in the 1980. I moved to Raleigh in 1992. We kept in touch for a few years until he passed away.

I knew both Jake and George Stathas well. Which one was your grandpa?

Yes, Good point about the Firebird. And I meant to say earlier than '64 not later than in my OP.
