1968 GTO Air Cleaner
 
I just received the PHS on my 68 GTO.
Marked on the paper work says: Air Cleaner, Duel Stage H.D.

Not sure if it matters: Build date is: 11/22/67

I'm not sure if it should have a Duel Snorkel or Single air cleaner assembly.

Dual stage has nothing to do with the number of snorkels, 1968 all had only one.

Yeah I just found more information on the subject, it was a paper filter with a foam ring around it....Duel Stage code 731.
So it's back to looking, thank you for the info.

Is your car a standard 400 4bbl, or 400HO? Both of those just used the single snorkel air cleaner. If that is what you need, I have an extra one.
