I don't recall the asking price, but it was for sale back in 2023.

with a little more than 1 day left on the action it is bid to $8200.00 Seller is listed as Farmers Insurance. And Mileage is now listed as 94k. It will be interesting to see if it sells.
With no apparent damage I wonder why the insurance Company is the owner? |
Quote:
In 74 My neighbor who was a wholesale dealer told me of a 240z at a salvage auction, that was a stolen recovery. The claim was paid out before it was recovered so the insurance company owned it. I got the car with only a little damage at less than wholesale. This is just one explanation. They cant sell flood vehicles as clean title so It shouldnt be that. |
well Im out
almost $14k with 3 hrs left and reserve still not met. I bought the extra "review" and it was worthless other than saying rear tires have less tread than front. No underside pics, didnt even open the trunk. I hope someone gets a well preserved survivor car and not a bondo bucket. Im guessing the reserve is set at what they paid out on claim. |
It started the live auction at $14,100 and reserve was off.
only 1 bid at the live auction for $14,200. Bidder was from Armenia |
Looks like the reserve was not met, back up for auction with 6+ days left. So they didn't believe the bidder from Armenia?
|
Now Im officially confused.
I logged in as a bidder and reserve was lifted when it went from $11k to $14k. It did say "SOLD,on sellers approval" but it always says that. Ive lost bids before and later got them(for less)2nd time around. I just logged in again and it says SOLD in a red banner, updated 5 minutes ago at 3:46pm |
