Are stock 68 Firebird 10 bolt axles the same as 68 Tempest / GTO?
 

Both of the rear axles in the GTO clone wagon have bearing inner races that were spinning :(. I presume the axles are junk as they have lost a thousandth or two where the axles contact the inner races. I do however have two good used 68 Firebird axles. Is there any reason why I can't run those in the wagon? I already have new bearings, seals, etc for the job.
