Boss Bird Behind The Scenes

This video popped up in my YouTube feed. It's been awhile since I watched it. It's a unique view from the crew standpoint of sending it downtrack.

Any idea of what's become of the BossBird since it sold?

We sold it to a collector in Minnesota who wanted it for his museum. As far as we know, it's still there. He didn't want to send it down track but did want all the equipment to start it and idle it on alcohol.

The Bono glasses at 5:30 are epic.

Michael had the helmet cam.

it took me a little while to getting around to watching this one;
It offers a really neat perspective from a pit crew member - thanks for sharing this.

We surrounded ourselves with people who knew what they were doing and we paid attention. The NHRA pro teams were very open to helping us.

Fun fact: our record-setting 250 mph run was done on a set of used tires off Leah Pruett's TF car from Gainesville 2019. They would run them 4-6 laps and then get rid of them. Most of those tires end up getting donated to the tracks to use on the track drag. But if you know somebody who knows somebody, the DSR team would bring a pair home for us every spring.

So Amazing! Could you let us know where the car is displayed? I would love to go look at it someday!

It's in a private museum. We don't know the location.

Driving that car had to be the ultimate dream come true. You guys did a great job with the car and I have enjoyed reading about it on here. Thank you!
