403 AC Hose Assy Part Number / Compatibility
 

Hi - I searched some threads here and several parts store websites (NAPA, AZ, etc.) trying to find the A/C hose for a 403. I know there are new specialty manufacturers making them but wanted to see if I can find it locally first; also hoping not to have to pay $250-300 for a hose. Anyone have an original GM Delco part number to cross reference? None of the part stores websites return results by make/model.

I did find one comparable in an actual book catalog that looks like the original although does not show its fits the 79 Olds 403 configuration; I think its for the R4 pancake compressor but looks like it might work. Picture below. Thanks in advance!

A GM dealer can print you all the part #’s.

GM part # 10006935............discontinued.

You can find reproductions on ebay for about $275.

Go to a place who makes hoses, have them made.

Was a good idea but no luck, I called 2 places. The first wanted to sell me 5/32 vacuum hose as he had no idea what I needed but recommended me to another place who might have paper catalogs. The second place did not have a catalog but found it on the computer; unfortunately no part number or superseded number listed.

Thanks! I'll use this to continue my search. I did see those and similar, that will be the last resort if all else fails or I come up empty handed.

Thanks again. I think there are a couple places still around that can do that. I think the only hard part is locating a new 'muffler' or maybe I can clean mine out well enough.

They can print you stuff from the books, also there a parts search too.
I’ve never tried to,look up AC hoses in the big parts book, have you looked there?
