Mounting repro Ram Air hood pan

I am starting my 68 Firebird project and it came with some fiberglass ram air reproduction pieces. The car is a 400 4 speed but not a Ram Air.

The original hood is in very good condition and I really do not want to cut it up for some reproduction pieces that aren’t correct.

Has anyone cut up a hood pan to where it will fit a factor hood with a few screws? I don’t need it correct but I do like the look of the Ram Air set up.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Jeremy

Just try mounting it I had a steel pan on my car without cutting the hood.

Having had factory RA hoods before I can tell you that a 6 yr old can do a better job of hacking.
