1970 GTO Build
2 Attachment(s)
I bought this GTO in September 2022. I've been doing work on it off and on since then. I'm going to push hard and try to get it done by the end of 2025.
Here are pics of the car when I first got it home. |
Does anyone know why the pics are uploading rotated to the left?
I don't want to end up uploading 100 pictures like that. |
Crop your pictures slightly. That amount of editing seems to ’fool’ the forum software that keeps turns them sideways.
|
Excellent..... I'm sure it will be a over the top
|
Looks like a great starting point, what's the plan?

Thanks Bart. I couldn't figure out how to rotate the pictures.
Thanks Paul, it's going to be a real nice car. OCMDGTO, I'm building the car for my wife. I should go 9.90's and drive likes a Cadillac. Thanks Pepper Judge, I think my pics will upload fine now. |

These are before pics of the interior, trunk, under the car.

I didn't like how the fuel cell, fuel pump, and batteries were below the tin in the trunk. So I modified the rear frame rails.

Now the trunk tin will be the same height as the factory trunk.

The car came with an aluminum square tube core support that was bolted together. I built a 1" tubular core support to replace it.

Nice work George, you’re quite the fabricator.
