1966 Bonneville Build

Hello, I am starting a build on my Bonneville my family has owned for a very long time. Where should I start? I was thinking wheels and tires just like I did my truck. I don’t know what size I should go with though as I have never dealt with car tires. I’d like to go wider on the back than the front. Any suggestions on where I should start and what size tires I should go with?

It would help to know what exactly you are starting with. If all it needs are wheels and tires, then do wheels and tires. If it is a low option rust bucket, maybe light a few $100 bills on fire to ease yourself into it.

‘66 full size cars have very tight rear wheel wells. Be aware.

Post pics of what you’re starting with!
