Wheel washers
 

I feel like the holes in my wheels are wearing out and enlarging. Noticed a few lugs are going into the second line on the lugs.
What wheel washer size would I need ?

What wheels do you have? most stock steel wheels take a tapered lug nut that doesnt use washers.

I understand that but some holes have elongated over the years for whatever reasons.
Just looking to ensure the lugs slowly pulling through.

The only thing that causes lug holes to elongate on 45 degree stock style wheels, is driving with loose wheels. The lug nut surface is not a wear item. The only way to repair them properly would be to build the holes up with weld, and use a countersink, and index the hole to the proper spot on the wheel to return them back to original size and placement. Not something for a backyard repair.

Once the holes elongate the lug nuts will always try to loosen as the wheel surface works back and forth on the 45 degree seat from braking and acceleration.

Using washers would be a side of the road repair to get you to the next town, not a permanent repair. I know Rally II wheels aren't scarce, so you might try finding a wheel restoration shop to restore the lug nut surface by welding, and re-machining them, or just buy good used replacements.

Don't be that guy sitting on the side of the road with body damage, car sitting on the brake drum/rotor after running over one of his tire/wheels from loosened lug nuts. Repairing the damage after loosing a wheel is going to be much more than getting the wheel repaired properly or buying replacements.

They make different sized lug nuts even a 1" for a 7/16 stud-circle track wheels use them

Yeah for rally 2 wheels adding a washer isnt the best idea, but might work for a band aid approach. As mentioned, check into having them repaired or for the price of raly 2 wheels, find a new set, Ive sold & seen nice rallys for $250 for all 4 and even cheaper around $100-150.

I bought some of those special washers that you can use for worn lug holes. The factory rally 2 lug nuts don’t have much of a shoulder on them . I’ve seen oversized rally 2 holes and I think it comes from years of on and off the car with an air gun. I’ve had people tell me those special washers are just fine but honestly, I didn’t trust them so I got some rally 2 from wheel vintiques. Went to a 15” so I had a better tire selection. Actually I still have those washers in the garage somewhere.

You can still find rally’s at the swaps, I found a mint set in gold off an SE car. Came with rings and caps.
