1968 Firebird Heater Core
 

Heater core leaking on my non-AC Firebird. Has anyone ever tried rotating the heater core to position the inlet-outlet hoses? The factory has them coming out of the heater case and into the firewall right behind the cylinder head. That just seems odd when it would be so much simpler to have them over on the fender side. Just my feeble curiosity at play…
