Heater Core Leak
 

Finally removed the junkyard HEI the previous owner had installed and replaced with a new RTR style distributor yesterday. After a long road test I parked the car overnight only to wake up this morning and see a small puddle of coolant under the passenger fender, looks like the heater core decided to start leaking.

I’m dreading this job since the car has AC, doesn’t work, the lines and compressor have been missing for a long time by the looks of things.

So two questions, one how hard is it to replace the heater core and two, I guess if I’m in there I might as well do something about the AC, suggestions for the best way to handle all of this “while I’m in there”
