Help with 1970 under hood light

Needing info on my understanding hood light. I have looked in the aim and could not find a page dealing with it (I have multiple pages that are unreadable) i am going to restore it and put it back on. I need a wiring diagram and would like to know if any parts are reproduced? My switch is bad. Or if someone would tell me what page in the aim it's located in would appreciate it.

Use a brake light switch to replace your bad one. The blue plug connects to the Fuse Panel 'Battery' terminal. Wire runs through a grommet near the Master Cylinder.
There should be dimples in the fire wall just to the left and right of the voltage regulator to mount the switch and light.

Photos are of my 68 but the 70 should be very similar

I have the grommet and the screw holes are in the firewall. I left them in place

The brake light switch was actually what the factory used.

I did use a brake light switch. Pontiac made a lot more complicated than should have been.
