16" steering wheel over 15"?

I have a 67 gto with a 15" steering wheel and manual steering. Tuff on low speed turns. Would a 16" wheel help much in steering effort? If so how much are we talking?

Thanks

Almost 7 percent less effort to steer it.

Not a lot but better than nothing.

The original steering wheel is 16” so I guess they figured that was the right size.

My old VW buses have 17-1/2” steering wheels, which is needed because they’re all manual steering. With a full load (1800 pounds) and the driver sitting right on top of the front wheels you need the leverage.

Adding a little more air pressure in the front tires would help some.
