1978 MVMA Specification Form Firebird
I ran across a copy of the 1978 MVMA Specification form for the '78 Firebird line up. If anyone knows a quick way to scan and post I will, or I can copy and mail out if you want one. Dad's brother bought a bunch of paper work out of dealer back in the early '80s, some reason they kept the MVMA's for all the '78 lineup.
If you don't know what a MVMA is, it's the specifications of everything on the car. This is one is for the '77 Firebird I found online, https://auctions-media.hemmings.com/...EBIRD-MVMA.pdf Joe |
Sounds like a great find!
If you have an all-in-one type printer, they probably can scan easy. How many pages are there? :) |
50 pages, my printer / scanner is only a flatbed, one page at a time. When I get to work next week, I believe the main printer in the office can do what I want.
These are pretty interesting to look at, why would a dealer need all this information? Was it to help salesmen sell cars better? J Hand |
Never heard of that before, pretty good amount of info. Saved the 77 one, looking forward to seeing the 78 version. Thanks

I don't think these were for dealers. I think all manufactures' had these books. It might have been required by the federal government. It has all kinds of information in them.

I scanned it off at work and have it in PDF format, but it's too big to post. Not sure how to break it up, if you know a way let me know. I can also send it by e-mail. I have '76, '77, and '78 Firebird, Lemans, and Pontiac versions.

You get one every time you order a PHS

Pick up a 78 press pack if you like that. More goodies plus photos.
