Im looking to buy a pair of tinted door glass - I'd prefer old originals. A local guy has a pair for sale that look great but I can't tell if they are originals or later replacements. The etching just looks too new. What do you make of this code/font?

PPG glass made in the Tipton, PA plant. Sept, 1971. Close?

Ok but the "PPG" looks odd to me. I have original clear glass out of my 70 car and the "PPG" is very different

It is over 2 years difference between those 2?

The '70' glass is march 1969, which seems early for 1970?

The one is also a Soft Ray glass which might make a difference in design?
