Seat Belt Restorers
Inspired by a retractor that no longer retracts and a bunch of rust on the blade and buckle chrome, I'm going to have a '78 Trans Am seat belt system refurbished. Trying to stay OE with this car.
Any pros and cons between Ssnake-Oyl and Python? Or any other recommendations? |
I met the crew from Sharon's Web at MCACN and was able to see their finished products and ask them questions. I ended up sending a complete set of 68 F deluxe belts that needed a full resto and date tags. 10 weeks later (as promised), I received a perfect set of belts. They charged me exactly what they quoted and performed the work that they said they would. Not inexpensive, but the quality and service was excellent.

I spoke with the folks at Sharon's Web and they do not work on cars past the 1975 model year. That's their choice. So they are not a viable source at this time, but thanks for your input and I'm glad you had a good experience. That's what I'm looking for too!

I apologize for the bad information.
I did not realize that they had a model year cutoff. They must have a reason. |
Buy a nice used set.

Any luck trying Ssnake Oyl Products?

Waiting on a quote from Ssnake-Oyl.
Haven't found any horror stories yet about S-O or Python on the various forums, so maybe either one is a good choice. |
