Ah - yes. I remember. I was down at Greenfield Village for the 90th birthday celebration of the Model T, during a long lunch break. All the news teams were there, and Edsel Ford II was parade marshal. One of my buddies said "Cmon and ride around with us!" I was like "Nah. For sure I would end up on Channel 7 news and I would have my dad, my boss, and my wife asking why I was down at the village today." K |
I might be able to make it Burd, it would be great to catch up with both you and Keith, and see how the basement is coming along.
|
I'm planning one seeing the museum in late June during the POCI convention

(I realize I'm a day late, but still wanted to chime in.)
Jealous :cry: Isn't this the museum which has the 'low mile' 70 Formula that had a repaint? |

Haven't seen it so I can't comment on the paint. K |
/\ the paint was a curiosity that left people questioning the mileage;
Apparently it was getting refurbished early on, and something happened to damaged the paint - so the original owner had it repainted. IIRC it has something like just over 400 miles on it... there 's a whole thread on that car here. |
It was a lot of fun. It was great seeing you again Keith. What a cool museum. That would be a fun field trip sometime, museum and lunch or dinner.
