Happy Birthday Big Daddy!!! And like our Pontiac legend Arnie "The Farmer", they always had time to talk to the fans. Exemplary men!

Truly one of a kind! Saw him at Gatornationals about 10 or 12 years ago in the stands 4 seats down from me. Right in the middle of a 'regular' group of fans. Heck, he could have been in one of the skyboxes or the tower but he really doesn't need any of that extra attention. 100 percent comfortable in his own skin.

He had a crew chief that actually came up with the idea of the rear engine car he’s talked about it before forget the guys name. He was certainly a pioneer of a lot of things though remember the tiny front wheels with belts on them and the belts would come off every run think about that running that fast and testing something akin to little lawn mower belts as tires. 😂 and they keep getting thrown off at 200plus mph
