Disappointing experience
 

So, I had made arrangements to meet a forum member to buy a part, only to find my trip to get the part a waste of my time.

Overall, I have great interactions and transactions with folks here, but this person knows I won't waste my time on him again. Oh well...

Sorry to hear that but it happens when dealing with people. It’s happened to me too.

It may help to know who this person is in order to save another member some grief down the road. JMO

More than an hour makes a bum deal much worse.

I would describe some more about the distance and the discrepancy -
before doing a name drop. To be fair
Item not same as described is always a trade violation.

If it was a nearby calamity you were lucky.

I say call him out! But you will have to go a little more in depth before you reach out for sympathy.

Damn that's a hike. That sucks that everything didn't work out. I've been there, and it's not fun.
