When you get to the good shape air cleaner assembly for a 1968 Pontiac for a 4 barrel carb, let me know.

Actually, the chrome one that I have dirt cheap would look great on a 68. For ten bucks, how do you go wrong?

Here ya go. This has been sitting in my “parts room” inside my shop for several years now and the heat from the Texas summers has made the filter stretch somehow to where it doesn’t fit into the casing anymore. I don’t understand that but another filter is easily purchased that will fit. I may have another one, so let me check. This is good looking under the hood.

Thanks. I will get it in a box and get shipping costs from UPS, Fed Ex and USPS. I just came back to San Antonio from the ranch in Gillespie county and won’t return until Monday. The air cleaner is at the ranch, but I will take care of that on Monday and get the total cost back to you.

This is a nice piece and looks pretty tough under the hood. The filter itself seems to have stretched a little, probably from the heat in my shop, and it doesn’t fit into the filter base anymore. That’s easily remedied with another filter though. I may have another one so I’ll check that when I return on Monday.
