US Radiator
 

Has anyone ever used US Radiator copper and brass radiator? Looking for stock look and something that runs cool and lasts. I have a 67 auto, ac car. Thanks

I had one in my 66 GTO for years. 4 row, kept my stock 389 cool. Took it out for an aluminum radiator, and put it into my son's 65 Tempest. It has developed a slow leak, but it still keeps his car cool, and it's at least 30 years old....

I've run the Desert Cooler copper/brass 17-1/2" radiator, available from Ames as part number RP119AM, in my A/C, automatic '67 GTO. It is entirely stock appearing, other than lacking the Harrison logo on the top tank. It's been in the car for 26 years, has worked very well, no leaks. It's $639 on the Ames website now; it was $225 in 2000.

I also used the radiator Ames sells. Used it in my 1967 GTO w/AC for years until I started racing it seriously. After that I installed it in my 1964 GP. (Perfect fit if you use GTO upper radiator hose and thermostat housing). Works great and no problems.
