bkrug of BaT has passed on . Bob Krug
Heavy heavy heart and hate to tell you guys that Bob - aka bkrug
- departed our world on Tuesday Feb 17 . Any of you guys who browse or comment on BaT probably are familiar with his efforts to contribute knowledge on Bring-a-Trailer . Really a great honest and righteous guy . One of the really good ones in our camp . He had 3 TAs, a GTO, and an oddball CobraJet 69 Ford . Was serious about Pontiacs and living a Good Retirement at 70 And would have bought more if the cancer had not taken him so quick. Around 6 months from diagnosis to departure. Aimed for good health and was a gym rat most of his lifetime - fit as a fiddle he said Told me Canada had assisted measures for dying people and that was his plan for the finish line. I don't know if he gave the signal or just went , He thought he would maybe make it to the end of month - but not past. So some of us knew how things stood. Peace and Blessings to his Wife and Family and his Friends Gonna be missed Have a shot or send a smoke signal for ol' Bob , Pontiac brothers |
Wow, hate to hear that. RIP.

Wow, that is sad to hear. I will miss his comments.
Godspeed Bob. |

very sad indeed, he was a wealth of knowledge and seemed to be a good guy.
|
oh no, my condolences...he was legend
|
Man, that's sad. I would see him all over BaT offering information and insightful comments. He seemed like a real nice guy.
|
Dang. So sad. The real PONTIAC HEAVEN awaits for him. God bless the family and all those that personally knew him. Surely will be missed.
|
I befriended Bob when he bought the 71 T/A from me. He'd look me up at MCACN (if he was there) and always gave a good conversation. I too always enjoyed his commentary on BaT. His thoughts were well educated and upbeat. To say he was passionate about the hobby, would be a huge understatement.
RIP Bob. I'll catch you on the other side |
Very sad to hear about Bob’s passing, great man and extremely knowledgeable especially in the Pontiac world. Enjoyed reading his comments on Bring a trailer. Met him at Trans Am nationals a few years back. God bless his soul.
|
RIP....always enjoyed his comments.
|
Dude knew his stuff period. I never met him but loved reading his info. REST IN PEACE!!!
|
I don't think Bob lived too far from me - had hoped to catch up with him at a local Pontiac event sometime.
RIP. |
