66 Le Mans Dash Pad questions

5 Attachment(s)
I got tired of looking at the cracked dash pad so I pulled it off. Like most things in life I like to start something and figure out how to do it as I go.

My questions:

1. What should I clean this with?

2. Leave what is left of the pad and repair or replace all the padding?

3. Any ideas on ideas to recover? I assume a decent upholstery shop can throw some vinyl back on there but are there alternatives? Wraps, other materials?

Thanks.

Ames sells both a reproduction dash pad or just a cover to go over your old one.

Thanks, any recommendation on cleaning?

I bought one of those 66 pads from Ames but, have not installed it yet. Hoping the install goes smooth and looks like new

Hey Steve

Does it come with the padding or is it just the vinyl piece?

Are you going to paint it?

You mind posting a pic after you install?

Thanks man
