WOT manifold vaccum

Probably discussed previously but I got tired searching.
What is an ideal manifold vacuum at WOT? I read some online blurb where a guy was using manifold vacuum to size a carb. That is a WOT vacuum of 3" would indicate the carb is too small and is creating too much restriction. Currently my vacuum goes to 0" when I go WOT. 825 Demon on a 461.

0.5" or less is ideal

As stated in the above, for maximum wide open throttle hp .5 hg.
Attaining this though can leave you with degraded torque production in lower rpm ranges .

For pure street motors only that are making 500 hp or less out of 400 cid or less I would live with 2 inches hg .
