Newer Pontiac owners chime in

One of mine is a 2004 GTO that I have owned for 22 years. It has 114,000 miles and other than the alternator remains 100 percent original. Tires of course, oil changes, of course, coolant changes, of course. Still has the original spark plugs and wires and still runs exactly the way it did when I first bought it.

So what newer, (non classic} Pontiac do you still own from new? How well has it served you and what condition is it in today?

My 2007 Grand Prix GXP is a wonderful and fun vehicle. Hard to believe 19 years have passed already since we picked it up at a local Pontiac dealer. It still runs and looks great.

Great to hear. Seems that nobody gives any credit to any Pontiac younger than 1971. I owned anemic 80's G-body Pontiacs and even the 90's versions of FWD cars including a 1994 GP with the 3.4 OHC six. I had a 1997 GTP with the supercharger that was a GREAT car. It was reliable and nearly as fast as any Pontiac before it. But it was FWD and that was something I never could accept or get comfortable with. Neither of those cars had a traditional PONTIAC engine. But as times changed many good Pontiacs ensued such as the Grand Am, G6, Solstice, G8, and others until Pontiac's demise in 2009.
