I D these floor mats
 

I’m pretty sure that Pontiac offered floor mats in the same style and shape like the ones in these photos for a number of years for both A and B body cars. These rear mats have the instructions molded into the back for trimming them to fit a car with bucket seats. I’m trying to figure out what color they are. I have seen info mentioning Aquamarine, Dark Green, etc. What is this color? Any other info you guys can give me on these?

do they have molded part numbers?
typically a part number should be molded into a part - including floor mats, and the part number should give a color name.

I recently acquired a (1935-1973?) "Pontiac Parts and Accessories Catalog" - this would be a great way to test out this book.

I bought these over 40 years ago as an nos set still in the Pontiac box, but there were no part numbers, etc. on the box anywhere. Checking the back side of the mats more closely with a flashlight I find the following:
Left front. 9774533. LH-PP1

Right front. 9774532. RH PP1 4240R. 4

Left rear. 9774535. LH PP1

Right rear. 9774534. RH-PP1

Does your book give any info on these numbers?

1964 -1965

I realized the flaw in my request last night while looking up the parts;
The catalogs would show the "package" not the part number;
More of ten than not with floor mats this would be a pair of mats, not the singles.

But, it gave me the opportunity to thumb through a couple catalogs that I hadn't spent much or any time in, so I'll share what I found incase you are able to apply a package part number to your mats.

First, this is my newest catalog;
What threw me off about this one was that it was called a "parts and accessories catalog" not a "master parts catalog" like most of the ones I have come across;
I had thought it was applicable a ways back because a previous seller of the catalog erroneously applied a "1935-1973" sticker to it:

This all models catalog is actually a full sized car catalog, and appears to go back mostly to 1967 - but there were a few 1966 listings.

Here is my other catalog, it's actually two-in-one;
The first half is for Canadian market Acadians and Tempest (which also covers Lemans and GTO), the second half is for 1969-1970 Grand Prix's.

This catalog is the older format, and it appears as though the dealer which had it inserted the March 1970 (spring update issued) pages directly in front of the November 1969 pages (which I believe would have been the first printing for the 1970 model year);

This catalog (other than the GP section) does go further back, and I will post all versions of the 15.286 (rubber mats) pages for yours, or anyone else's benefit.

Take the fronts to a Pontiac Dustoff show, you got all the cars there to try.

The parts shown in your parts catalogs, aren't those the rubber floor mats for a car without carpet? I thought the only way to get mats like shown in the OP was as an accessory or when the car was ordered. I don't think they were available as a service part?

Jeff, mine came in a box just like yours. Checked the Legendary web site for their reproduction mats for 64-65 and found they show a Turquoise and an Aqua. The Aqua is clearly a much lighter shade than the mats I have, so it looks like Turquoise is the correct name for this color. Checked my 71 MPC, but it did not show the number molded into the back of my mats. It appears each color was assigned a specific number. I was hoping to find my number listed so I could see what color name was associated with it, but so far no dice.

You are correct. I've always called 220 Dark Aqua.
However, it is listed in the parts book as Turquoise.

This is what I tried to touch on (and I had forgotten);
The part number listed in the MPC is a "package" - not the individual single parts.
