parts that scratch the door glass....

Curious what others have done to resolve this problem where the worn door felts scratch the glass?
The brackets are avail with new felts repop but, can you just replace the felts?
Curious what others have done to solve the problem.
There must be something inexpensive avail to mend this problem on our birds.
thanks

A big culprit are the three metal but covered with felt guides at the top of door. Too loose and the window flops and can hang in too much at the top, too tight and tough to get up esp if electric windows.

I've thought about making my own felt replacement (have not got yhere yet...)
I thought about what's durable and soft.
Maybe cutting up one of those micro fiber clothes

It's only a thought at the moment.

I have seen people just use old carpet on those but do not know how that looks

I buy Velcro at a local craft store and glue the soft side to the brackets
