fully restored 1964 GTO Value
Quick question, What would a frame off 1964 GTO #'s matching 4 speed tri-power car be worth. If done correctly is 50k to 60k good? Car was restored 7 years ago then parked with only 1600 miles. I am told car was originally brown and was changed to "cameo' during the restoration. Any and all input is greatly appreciated.

Does it run and drive well? Do the brakes still stop with no leaks? Does it look freshly restored? Prices are all over the place. From $40K to $125K. If the car still looks good and performs well $50k-$60K sound reasonable. If it was a quality restro it could go up from there. Like always it depends on how badly someone wants it.

Agree with goatracer.... is it a hardtop, coupe or convertible?
Hagerty has a valuation guide to get you a ballpark idea. Look at sales results on some of the auction websites. Sounds like at least a 50-60K car. But we've seen "frame off" "correct" restorations that fall short. Color change probably hurts the value some. |
