72 GP Only? Power Bucket Seat Front Trim
 

My first GP in HS was a 72 J Cardinal Red white interior and top. It had bucket seats and driver was power. it had a thin plastic trim piece grain textured in front of the seat bottom in addition to the cover on the pulleys and rubber drive ring. When I restored my 71 SJ I got replacement buckets with the power driver seat. After being shipped to me I found they were 72 seats because of that plastic trim piece was on it. It was damaged beyond usage but enough to get measurements. I've 3D printed new ones just for fun that are accurately sized to my sample. If anyone wants one I can print more. Anyone have pictures of one installed? Apparently I did'nt take any before dissassembly.

Yeah, those covers are insanely fragile.

I would imagine they got kicked (heeled) a lot over the years from drivers that probably never knew it was there.

The one in my 72 Hurst SSJ has seen better days, but it is complete...
