replacing engine turned sticker on dash bezel

Am using my Y88 as a daily driver and slowly restoring it. One of things needing attention is the dash bezel. Mine is pretty faded so, I bought the reproduction that Phoenix Graphix makes. I also bought their cleaner/prep products.
What I do not have is experience doing this and only want to do it once. So, am asking those out there who have actually done one or more.

What is the best procedure to do this to apply properly and evenly?
Am a bit cautious that I may not apply it correctly and do not want to have to do over. any help appreciated

pic is just for reference I found off the net

to clarify- I want to install the reproduction engine turned gold sticker onto the bezel.

I’ve seen the turned decals, they don’t look all that great. You should send your Bezel to Randy.
Are you talking decal on the roll like this? The bezel isn’t flat. Post pics how it comes out. Cutting it along the black edge will be tough.

Let me ask a question.
Are the turn signals cut out? Are they triangular or circular?
I still don't like the swirl pattern.

The PG decal is precut to fit the bezel, not an ebay decal on a roll... very little cutting required, like maybe the turn signal holes since there are round and triangle versions.

Says it comes with squeegee and instructions, so should be pretty straight forward. If they suggest using their application gel it will be much easier to position than doing it dry, I found a few drops of dawn dish soap in spray bottle works better than the gel, easier to squeegee out.
