66 bowl 7031575 repair

I have this very nice 66 center bowl with the exception of the bowl has a crack.
Has anyone ever repaired one with Super Alloy 1. Don't want to toss it if it can be saved.

I would repair with JB Weld. Apply the epoxy to the area, force the crack back in place as closely as possibe, remove the excess from the external area, leave a light ribbon inside the bowl around the crack.

I have read posts claiming JB Weld is not fuel-proof. I've used it for carb repairs for years without failure. Remember, it must cure for more than 24 hours before it is fuel-proof.

agreed JB weld will work well for this.

luckily where the crack is you wont see it
