Clutch rubbing on Retainer? TKX fitment 2nd gen firebird

Howdy, had my TKX on the road for about 50 miles and long story short it is out so I can do some clutch linkage mods. Noticed some weird wear on the clutch disk/hub, seems it is rubbing on the bearing retainer, TKX doesn't who any kind of damage anywhere. How would you guys proceed? Bought the whole kit from a respected transmission guy on these forums. Also had a single 1/4 hot spot (blueish) on the flywheel and pressure plate, the rest looks fine. Bellhousing was properly indexed and aligned/shimmed. Thanks.

It's kinda hard to see for me. Was it making any kind of noise? When you say bearing retainer, are you referring to the clutch fork and throwout bearing?

Referring to the snout of the transmission, what the TOB rides on. I agree hard to see but the wear looks more pronounced in person, and it’s only been 50 or so miles… I have some driveline noise unsure what is causing it and if it’s related.

I guess is it normal for the clutch to be against it, wear marks aside

Stupid question....was the disc installed backwards?

Valid question but no it was installed correctly, unable to install the opposite way anyways too.

I asked McLeod and they sent me instructions to trim the bearing retainer/transmission snout which seems a little aggressive on a brand new TKX. Curious what everyone else thinks. Everything seems similar to my T-10 but I will do some more comparing and see what really changed.
