Hurst shifter ID needed
 

I have this shifter and need to know the application and handle number.
I have tried with a thin feeler gauge to remove the handle, but won't release thanks

You'll need something more substantial to remove the handle. It's probably stuck with old grease and dirt. You may want to use a 1" putty knife or a 6" machinist rule

I use old butter knives to remove the handle. They can be a bitch!!

the discoloring at the base of the chrome stick suggests to me that it's been heated to red hot and bent to suit what ever it was used in.
