Hi all,

Anyone want to opine on the current value of this one? Looks like it needs at least some A/C work. Otherwise, pretty nice example.

I'm thinking $65k? Am I low?

i don't think your low, just my opinion. These dealers seem to be asking way over what cars are worth, to me.

Interesting that a 11/25/69 vehicle received a YC 455 engine as opposed to the YA engine. Weird seeing the serial numbers listed on the build sheet.

89K is way out of line. 65K... the owner may seem insulted, the dealer def will want to sell for most possible.

Pro's:
Seems to be fairly clean, well factory optioned (no owner option adder) 455 Auto '70 GTO.
was a one family owner car
very healthy hp & torque #'s on 2013 HR cam engine build.

Con's

It's Pepper Green.... at least it doesn't have a black vinyl top which was popular color combo for '70 model.

For the super anal, going to need pro strip, SPI epoxy & pro refinish of the endura nose, & then the reinstall... not going to be cheap. My own take...in to Bugsmacker rides, leave it alone.

would need to examine condition of the brake booster to see if original & nice enough to send out to Booster Mike. Can't do Taiwan boosters.

tires.... are they 2004 installed cheap tires?

Well then it's a Pro, because it's Verdoro Green. LOL.

Verdoro is a pro for me for sure. I'm looking for a Verdoro '70.

I also noticed no wheel well opening moldings, which is typically a sign of prior body work, but perhaps not in this case.
