Congrats on a sweet ride! Of course I’m a little partial cuz my 75 is also blue! Solid looking car. Enjoy!

I want to say Stellar to you.
But you're calling it Admiral Blue...

I have a super dark blue 75 TA with a ox blood interior and I thought it is Stellar blue. A one year color.

I always thought it was Admiral Blue. Guess I really hadn't looked into the paint color names, I just remember about 30 years ago reading a book that had an Admiral Blue T/A and I just went with that name. My bad. Lol

Do a search there is a website that describes firebird facts by model year. I can’t remember what it is called though

1973-4 had Admiralty Blue. 1975-6 was Stellar Blue. All four years had Paint Code 29 on the tag.

Nice car!

TXSTARFIRE 05-30-2026 02:11 PM

So 73-76 with paint code 29, was this the same color with 2 different names, or were they diffent colors with the same paint code?

Held for Ransom 05-30-2026 04:27 PM

I made a mistake on a '76 Firebird using 29, they didn't. GM did use the '75 paint code 29 for '76, both same formula. 1973 and '74 used a different formula in paint code 29. 1977 and '78 used paint code 29 also, but also a different formula. 1979's paint code 29 was a different formula too.

Got it, thanks for the information.
