FUEL PUMP OUTLET LOCATION ON PUMPS DIFFERENT-explain ?

I know some Pontiacs had different clocking locations on the fuel pumps for inlet/outlet of fuel lines. Does anyone know what models are what ?

I guess A-i is worth something after all...it's learning...and fast.
left front outlet fitting towards drivers side wheelwell is early v8 1964-74
right front outlet fitting towards timing cover corner/fan/radiator is late model 1974-79

There are way more fuel pumps than that. Almost every year in the 60s is different and multiple pumps per year sometimes. With and without vapor return, some pumps are 3/8 lines and some are 5/16. Once you get into the 70s I think there are less differences.
