Share a story just happened. Involves my cat Sneakers

21 years ago in driveway working on trailer brakes taking race car 1st time to Norwalk. As I was working a little black and white cat started rubbing against my feet. I petted him he left. I called the wife Friday from Norwalk. She said I have problem. A little black cat wanted in the house. I said ok. She named him Sneakers. Today I had to let him go. Diagnosed Monday with lung cancer vet said another organ started the cancer. He has been a buddy through the last
5 yrs with my wifes passing, my lymphoma. Anyway, I go to NAPA for new wiper blades. I see a logger I've known for 40 yrs. Did work at his home, bought lumber from him. Anyway I had a thought he had an old Ford 750. Yes. He is scrapping it. I said do you have the hood scoop? Yes. I said can I have it sure. I said how much, nothing! The scoop is for my 63 Lemans. I bought the new bathtube intake. So my point Sneakers helped me 21 yrs ago now he let me by chance get a free Ford hood scoop.yes I'm nuts.

I am sorry for your losses. It’s funny how much a cat can mean and help when things are going wrong.

Yes. A pet can be as important emotionally as a human. God has a perfect plan for all of us.

I have alot of memories. Wife use to say ' I never want regrets'. I dont. I did my best. Sneakers a tuxedo cat always met me at the back door. Slept with me at night. He was my shadow. Thanks guys for the condolences.

So is that new piece a Sneaker Scoop?

So sorry to hear about your cat. It's so hard to lose a forever friend. I'd rather have some of my pets back than some of my relatives.

I thought about putting Sneakers on the scoop. Thanks guys. Their love is innocent and faithful.

Sorry for your loss.

We took in a young male cat that an acquaintance tossed out of the house over 20 yrs ago. He became my buddy. He liked to be near me, but not to the point where he was annoying. His favorite spot was lying in a chair beside of mine while I was working (from home). He passed away about two years ago from kidney failure at the age of 18 or 19. We had him almost 16 years. Our other pet, a boxer, passed away only a few months before that at age 16. It was tough having no pets after having those two around for almost 20 years. You get really attached to your pets.

Sneakers would want to eat about 5.30 am. Patae salmon, strange owner likes salmon also. Then he d sleep. I'd get up about 8ish wash, clean his litter box. He d follow me,do his business. I'd do a load of wash. Then I'd sit next to my folding clothes table place him on there and brush him.He d purrrrrr! When I was in the shop he had a chair he slept on while I worked, didnt mind the saw noises didnt like the grinder. Followed me to tub shower, sit and wait for me. Im done. Then he d climb in shower and wait for drops of water from faucet. He d sleep with me at night between my legs. First he d want to play, bitting my fingers, grabbing them with his paws, then we d sleep. Pets unconditional love has to be an example of Gods love for us. Many fond memories.

I've heard of cat woman before, never cat men.
