Gas Tank, Vent tubes, Gas cap
 

I am working on a 1972 Lemans; I was going to replace the 3-vent gas tank with a 1970 Lemans 3 vent gas tank. That I already have. I noticed the center vent tube is in a different location. Also, the gas caps are different. Can I re-plumb the center vent tube, and use the 1970 gas cap, without any fuel tank or vent problems?
