74 Formula 400 exhaust tips

Hi All,
I have bought 74 exhaust tip repro's and would like to know dimensions for placement. How far should the pipes be from outer edge of the body and how far from the bumper bottom edge. Trying for the factory look. Thanks in advance.
Cheers, Pete.

I struggled with this as well and just eye-balled via stock photos...good luck

I believe that the pipes and mufflers didn't change from 1973 - the only change was the tips;
I would tuck them up further than this picture if I was you (and it is possible).

These are reproduction tips on my 74 years ago

Not sure if it was correct, but this is how we put them

Thanks Guys, I appreciate the feedback and pictures. I've looked at a lot of pics of 74/75 birds with these pipes with different variations of angle and clearance.
I have a crossflow muffler with 2" pipe to the exhaust tips which are 2" inlet/2.5" outlet and wondering the best way of connecting them is just clamps or ? The car came with just 2" steel tailpipes that have a bracket connected to a rubber hanger, looks factory.
Thanks, Pete
