Painless wiring help

I'm having some terrible trouble with the painless wiring kit that is in my 77 lemans. I've been having the hardest time with getting my instrument cluster to work correctly. I've got brand new auto meters in there and for whatever reason when the gauge lights are on the gauges peak out. I also have no brake lights or turn singles. With also no power at both the relay sockets.

Check your grounds first. Power for brake lights goes through the turn signal switch, make sure you have power going to the turn signal switch. Post the part number for the harness you used, and I'll try to look up the diagram and give you some direction.

I used p/n 10401 I don't know if the auto meters I have in there are dimmable guy at painless was kinda useless he said do I continue check on the flasher relay and that's about it he also said do a separate ground and all about it. I can move the wiring for my gauges and make the gauges read differently. What could be causing that?
