I used summit's acrylic urethane on mine and for the money you can't beat it! Worked great. I went over 3-4 different previous paint jobs. Sanded them down where needed and used them to level it out....

yes it will work, but the ford spline is a different dia and different lgth so you have to use a longer solid throw out bearing and ford clutch. I run a toploader imposter. T170 and it works fine....
