A 326 with a 60 lb pump is going to use the same amount of oil as a 455 with a 60 lb pump.
Not sure what stroke has to do with oiling.
Now a long stroke engine will pull a very hard carb signal.

Its not snake oil. It leaves a sticky film on all your engine parts and it helps a great deal for engines that sit for long periods of time.
And Pontiacs these days do a lot of sitting.
