As far as I know they were all the same 70-early 78. I did a quartz conversion on my 77. Overall I like it. Pretty easy too.

Not positive on brown, could be correct above regarding blower. Orange and black is likely lighter as mentioned. I’ll see if I can do some digging on the brown with the yellow end

Not uncommon in the later version of the 2nd gen tachs. Late 78 thru 81 are the same. Something causing a surge after the ignition is turned off sending the tach to full tilt.
