neutral safety switch
Had a problem years ago. Was in the flood lanes at a race and car would not start because of the switch. I wiggled the shifter around and got it started but almost lost a round of racing that way....

The only changes were listed, rear power valve removed, jet size changed and rear jet extensions. The choke assembly was removed but I have that and goes with the carb.

timing
Thanks guys. I was thinking that running it a couple degrees less would be safer for the motor. I plan on racing it a little but mostly show and cruise nights. I set it down to around 30- 31 degrees....
