Will, sounds like you're taking a smart approach to this possible problem. The tolerance simply HAS to be correct. Even good machine shops make mistakes....better find it now rather than later.

Agree with Will. I dished the pistons in my 400 build-up but I don't think you have enough meat for the kind of dish you'll need in a 455 with those heads.
