a pontiac question
is there a book available that will tell me which pontiac auto parts are interchangeable and what year's models they will work on?
i don't like to guess and sometimes "taking somebodys word for it...

unfortunately i had to paint the kitchen and dining room today so i didn't get to play but i'll check timing and exh manif bolts and a/f mix tomorrow.
i hope the coil is the correct...

combustion conundrum
i installed an hei and supercoil(thanks warchief) on my 66 326 today.
started it up, set timing and gapped plugs up to .045". starts perfect, idles smooth as silk but pops and backfires thru exhaust...

still not running
hi all,
i could use a little help.
car quit running.
i put on a coil, wires, cap, rotor, points, condenser and plugs.
spark is so weak engine barely runs. misfires so bad and only smooths...

looking for troubleshooting advice!
hi from a newbie,
yesterday i was driving and had to turn around so i stopped, hit reverse, and when i grabbed first again the car started missing and bucking so bad i had to have it towed home.
