I just got my Zazarine Restoration Guide today and found that in 1968 those 4 mounts used cushions without bolts. Since my GTO was made in June 1967, it seems that the factory was already changing...

67 #4 and #5 Body Bolts

Today we removed 6 of the 14 body bolts successfully. Both of the number 6 bolts snapped off, as did 1 of the number 3 bolts. The other number 3 is still soaking in penetrating oil.
