I just visited with my friend who is working on the motor and he oiled and lubricated the piston pins and the motor is moving much more freely. I won't know for sure...

That will be the first thing we try as that will be the easiest. Thanks for the comment and tip. We soaked many of the parts but not sure if we oiled the piston connectors.......I will let you know.
