Need advise on 455 block deck surface

Is this block worth buying ? Its a 1970 std bore. The bottom center holes have me nervous. Surprised the machine shop didnt say anything to him. They are pretty deep. Thanks

james408 is correct my gto does the same thing if I have under half tank,if I run with half or more no problems at all .I think someone on here made a mod. for the pick up tube.

one thing I forgot to mention .If your car has the the orig. sending unit it may have a filter on the pick up tube.when you drive it plugs,shut it off for 10 min. The rust ,dirt fall off .on and on....

try looking at fuel system,filter,pressure,volume,fuel tank vent. weak ign coil? good luck
